 Narayana Guru's sisters later in life Nanu's father, Madan Asan was a farmer, teacher as well as a Sanskrit scholar. He was well versed in astronomy and ayurveda. Kutty, his mother was a pleasant and young wife. Nanu was the only boy among his parents 4 children.
